I love getting my nails done and I favour the gel mani over your bog standard polish, but when I don’t have the time or money to shell(ac) out on gels, I go the DIY route and do my own nails.
I find it really relaxing and a good way to chill out of an evening. The polish I used this time is not only the perfect nude colour in the bottle, but it was a bargainous £1 from Poundland.
Which majestic varnish is this, you ask? It’s called Bare Bones (number 300) by Revlon. It’s one of the ColourStay formulas, which, as the bottle stays, is a longwear nail enamel. Muted nails seems to be a ‘thing’ at the moment (or has that ship sailed, without me aboard?) so it’s perfect!
I am a bridesmaid at my brother’s wedding next week, and I think this is the perfect nail colour for that too, so I might just take it to the nail shop with me so they can do my nails all beautiful and lovely for the big day.

That ship hasn’t sailed-neutrals are still in!! I love painting my fingernails with a light pink and my toes with a much brighter pink! 🙂
